1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of Jefferson Concrete Expert (operating as "Jefferson Concrete Expert," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.

2. Services

Jefferson Concrete Expert provides concrete contracting services, including but not limited to driveways, patios, foundations, repairs, and related concrete work. All services are provided in accordance with industry standards and local building codes.

Services are provided on a project-by-project basis and are subject to written estimates, proposals, and contracts specific to each project.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided are based on site visits, measurements, and assessments at the time of inspection. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

Final pricing may be subject to change if project scope changes, unforeseen site conditions are discovered, or additional work is requested. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to the customer before proceeding with additional work.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in each individual project contract. Typically, a deposit is required to schedule work, with the balance due upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of work until payment is received. Accounts more than 30 days past due may be subject to interest charges at the rate permitted by Georgia law.

5. Project Timeline

We strive to complete all projects on schedule. However, timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, site conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

We will communicate any delays as soon as they are known and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing clear access to the work area
• Removing vehicles, lawn furniture, and other items from the work area
• Ensuring pets are secured and kept away from the work area
• Obtaining any necessary homeowner association or permit approvals (we can assist with permit applications if needed)
• Notifying us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other site conditions that may affect the work

7. Warranty

We stand behind our work. All concrete installations include a workmanship warranty for one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, settling, soil conditions, freeze-thaw cycles, or acts of nature.

Concrete is a natural material that will develop minor surface cracks over time. Small hairline cracks are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the concrete. Our warranty does not cover cosmetic hairline cracks.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jefferson Concrete Expert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project in question.

9. Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit, minus any costs already incurred.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduling costs and lost work opportunities.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve the issue. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration in Jackson County, Georgia, in accordance with Georgia law.
